JOB SUMMARY:
- The Rehabilitation Technician works under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services and Clinical Leaders for OT, PT, and SLP.
- Primary functions include batching charges and tracking accordingly.
- Billing is reviewed and compared to therapy billing.
- Cleaning therapy department and equipment is also required.
- The Rehabilitation Technician may also assist in patient treatment, in conjunction with and under the direct supervision of the therapist or assistant.
- Patient transport to and from scheduled therapy appointments is also required.
- Assists with patient transportation service or cross-staffing to other departments as needed.
MINIMAL ACCEPTABLE JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge and Skills:
- Skilled in organization with the ability to multitask.
- Must have advanced skills in time management, communication and teamwork.
Experience:
- Prefer past experience in the healthcare field, or experience in direct customer service.
Education:
- This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and CPR certification.
Other:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
